Widener Library is Harvard College's primary research library for the humanities and social sciences. It houses 3 million volumes written in over 100 languages.
Widener Library holds a small collection of material objects in the Harry Elkins Widener Memorial Collection. This collection comprises 3,300 rare books (including a Gutenberg Bible), furniture belonging to Harry Elkins Widener, and memorabilia related to the sinking of the Titanic and the building of the library.
