The Fogg specializes in European and American art dating from the 14th century to the present. Its collection includes paintings, drawings, sculpture, decorative arts, photographs, and prints. The Fogg is particularly well-known for its excellent collections of Renaissance Italian and 17th-century Dutch paintings, as well as for its 19th-century European collection. The American art collection includes many important paintings from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries.
